The Breakthrough Session

The '911' of coaching. 


This 90-minute intensive session is for executives with an immediate, looming, overwhelming challenge or crisis. Perhaps there is a decision you'd prefer not to make alone, a challenge that you need or want to address without consultation with peers or colleagues, or a crisis that needs to be resolved immediately.


Those times when your brain is scrambled, your mind is racing, and you can't think clearly. Those times when you need to act fast and be confident with your decision. Those times when you need to be courageous, creative and bold. Those are the perfect times for The Breakthrough Session. You'll leave the session completely clear on what you're going to do so that you can move to action the second you hang up the call (if not before).

Corporate Clients

I work with executives from newly appointed to seasoned C-Suite leaders. 

To ensure objectives are clear for every client, I work closely with them and, where applicable, the relevant stakeholders within their organization. 


Each executive coaching mandate is specific to the individual. 

To ensure rapid, consistent, and sustainable growth, weekly sessions are highly recommended (but are not obligatory). 

What to Expect

  • First, I meet with the person requesting the mandate to gain a clear understanding of what is needed. We map out the specifics of the mandate and establish next steps. 

  • I spend thirty minutes with the person to be coached, to understand what they believe are their specific coaching objectives and desired outcomes. 

  • Where applicable - and where permission is granted by the person being coached - I meet with the first-line manager, senior Human Resources professional, and other relevant parties to clarify and align the expectations of the mandate. 

  • If available, it's helpful to obtain copies of a 360 feedback report. If unavailable, I can conduct confidential interviews where required. 

  • I provide a written report of the coaching objectives, proposed duration, and associated fees. 

  • Once signed off, we begin. 

  • During the course of the mandate, I provide written and/or verbal feedback to pre-approved third parties at determined intervals. 

  • The person being coached receives a summary email after each coaching session. 

About the Coaching Sessions

  • Executives have a short attention span: I know, I was one. Therefore, sessions are an intensive 45-minutes. I waste no time and get to the matter on hand quickly. 

  • Wherever possible, coaching sessions are done via Zoom. Otherwise, they are done by phone. There are times when I attend the organization as a coach/observer, and this is usually (though not always) pre-determined in the mandate. 

  • All executive coaching clients are offered unlimited email and text support for the duration of the mandate.

  • Change can be really uncomfortable and sometimes, clients need immediate support to get them through a difficult or challenging situation. Therefore, clients are offered one thirty-minute 'crisis call' which can be used at any point during the mandate.
